An emerging generation of reporters are driving the way to revive local coverage of news and reduce the threat to the democratic process. Our goal is to obtain unprecedented resources to enhance proven solutions and eliminate long-standing injustices in coverage of journalism and practices.




Students and recent graduates inaugurated an Austin Harvest produce market at its permanent location this week, providing the arts and a sense of community to an area once known for gun violence. WBEZ's Jackie Kostek visited to speak with the company's founders, who have described their purpose as more than serving food, but as creating an atmosphere that is more welcoming part of their goal.
