Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home and set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune how much water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and automatic vacuum and mop, so it is naturally with features. It can sweep and mop in one session and can raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum cleaner vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed very well across the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately will also require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best rated robot vacuum robot vacuum and mop you can buy, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum cleaner best mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot vacuum cleaners reviews brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map out a space and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've set up. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help the robot to get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
