Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced by another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item upgrade to higher quality. To make them, you'll need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next success result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
