Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of different flooring. Find models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up the stairs.

A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an app that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down stairs in a single step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. To do this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.

This robot combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary in the app). The mopping feature is pretty impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation when required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble it can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is useful for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a thick margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always get every last piece of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 still has some of the best vacuum mop cleaner robot and mopping performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot cleaner vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. This device also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and increase suction if needed. The app allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
