Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they don't keep the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade item process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. The system is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item level upgrade to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are many methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in the area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item upgrader kit at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be added, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item upgrader mod however, you'll usually require Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.

The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
